I am sorry to inform you that Mike Barrett passed away on 7th August 2022, at the age of 81.
Mike was former Captain and Secretary of Formby Chess Club, Merseyside.
I believe he was also former President of the Merseyside Chess Association.
The funeral service was held at St.Peter's Church, Formby on Wednesday 31st August at 1.30pm. Followed by a committal at 3pm at Southport Crematorium.
