I am sorry to report that on Wednesday 21st September, John Stanley Strange passed away after a short illness. He was 75 years old.
Originally joining Swansea Chess Club in the 1970s, John enjoyed playing chess for a number of years. He then took time out to pursue other interests.
In the last few years he rekindled his chess playing, joining De La Beche Chess Club, in the West Wales Chess League.
