The sad news has been reported on the International Braille Chess Association that Ludwig Beutelhoff has died. He passed away on 27th March 2022 at the age of 74.
Ludwig was first vice president from 1992 to 2004.
From 2005 to 2017, Ludwig was president of the IBCA (International Braille Chess Association), the world federation for blind chess.
Ludwig then became honorary president.
