I am sorry to inform you that Chris Harrington died in early April.
Chris joined Tamworth Chess Club in 2014 and played regularly in league matches and club games until the lockdown in 2020. He returned after the lockdown and played a couple of games.
At the recent AGM (last month), it was decided to purchase a trophy in memory of Chris, which will be played for each season by club members with a rating not exceeding 1700 at a standard time rate.
