Post by Matt Mackenzie » Sun Jul 17, 2022 12:20 am

The passing has been announced - just before his 92nd birthday - of the world's second oldest GM (after Aleksadar Matanovic)

A leading figure in Soviet chess for many years - as a player, administrator, theoretician and writer.

After the fall of communism, he moved to the US.

I have that book, and yes it is very decent.

Could have been even better though - it is basically a collection of separate articles and at times that is fairly obvious.
