Post by Simon Rogers » Wed Jun 22, 2022 12:28 pm

I am sorry to inform you that Wimbledon Chess Club stalwart, Nick Keene, passed away suddenly earlier this month.
His passing was announced on 16th June just before the Kingston Chess Club v Wimbledon Chess Club match held at the Richmond and Twickenham Chess Club.
Wimbledon's Russell Granat led a minute's silence for Nick who was born in 1955.
There is a picture of Nick posted on the Battersea Chess Club Twitter page.
