Brian Johnson

I am sorry to inform you that Brian Johnson died earlier this year.
Brian won the World Amateur Chess Championships held in Hastings between 28th December 1995 and 5th January 1996.
Brian was well known for his orienteering and wrote many guides and books for Cicerone Press. He was also a bridge player.
A tribute was posted by Cicerone Press on 30th June 2021, which included this: "Brian Johnson was one of Cicerone's great authors."
