GM Stanimir Nikolic

I am sorry to report that the Serbian Grandmaster Stanimir Nikolic died earlier this year, at the age of 86.
Stanimir was born on 26th January 1935 in Donja Trepca, Yugoslavia.
He was awarded the IM title in 1967 and the GM title in 1978.
Stanimir was 1st at Smederevska Palanka in 1978.
I believe his maximum rating achieved was 2440 in January 1979.
