Richard Lemon
His death is announced by Surbiton Chess Club: there is an appreciation by his wife. He played in the 1970 British Chess Championship and his record apparently includes a draw with Gaprindashvili (not given here).
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

Re: Richard Lemon
He also scored 5½/11 at the 1972 British Championship, when he beat Jon Speelman...
So far I have been unable to trace the score of his draw with Gaprindashvili in the USA.
