Graham C. Benger

I am sorry to report the sad news that Graham Benger has died at the age of 86.
Graham was a member of Brentwood Chess Club, Essex, from the 1960s and for several years was the Tournament secretary, running many club competitions.
He regularly played for Brentwood in the Essex Chess League and the North Essex League.
Graham also played in the Southend Easter Congress on a number of occasions.
Outside chess, Graham was a keen cyclist and always enjoyed a real ale.
His death was posted on the Brentwood Chess Club Facebook page on 23rd December 2020.
