It has just been announced in the Obituaries section of the Shropshire Chess Association website, that John Waller of Oswestry Chess Club has sadly died.
This was posted by Jonathan Smith - Club Secretary.
"Oswestry Chess Club are sad to announce the recent death of John Waller. John was a member of the club for six years. He was a reliable, conscientious and enthusiastic member and will be sadly missed."
