I am sorry to inform you that Ray Trigg has died.
He passed away on Monday 7th September 2020, having been diagnosed with cancer a few months earlier.
Ray was a great character and a member of Sheffield Nomads Chess Club for a number of years. He was also a member of Darnall & Handsworth and the Stannington Chess Club.
He played in the Sheffield & District Chess League and in the Doncaster and Sheffield Congresses.
There is a tribute and picture posted on the Sheffield & District Chess Association website by Jeremy Hamm.
