I am sorry to inform you that Eric Sheppard has died.
He passed away on Sunday 1st November and it was announced on the Wiltshire Chess Association website on Wednesday 4th November.
Eric was a member of the Chippenham Chess Club (formerly Westinghouse) for over 30 years.
He organised chess competitions, quiz nights and captained League teams.
Eric played for Chippenham (Westinghouse) in the Wiltshire Minor and Intermediate Leagues.
