I am sorry to report that David Healiss has died.
It was announced on the Atticus Chess Club website on the 8th July.
He had passed away a couple of weeks before.
Dave was a long time member of Atticus Chess Club.
He last played for Atticus 2 in the Championship winning team of 2016/17 which played in the Merseyside League.
That year he turned out in every match with an excellent record of 10/14.
