I am sorry to inform you that Des Rowan died back in February.
His funeral took place on Monday 17th February at Linn Crematorium.
Des was an enthusiastic player for Giffnock & Clarkston Chess Club in the Glasgow and Dumbarton Leagues.
Des also regularly attended various congresses around Scotland.
