I am sorry to inform you that Paul Moore passed away on the 24th July 2026, at the age of 69.
Paul was living at the Riverside Care Home in Burton and had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for some 11 years.
He was stalwart of the Burton Chess Club, winning their club championship in 1993.
Paul also played for the Derbyshire first team for many years.
