Historic ECF grading results

Post by Christopher Kreuzer » Sun Apr 13, 2025 2:18 pm

Is it possible to look up details of ECF grading results before the 2002-3 season? I want to confirm that I played someone in 1996, and I think it was a graded game, possibly rapidplay, but maybe standardplay.

The ECF website holds the information we have.

Thank you, Brian. I think I have the printouts of results that were posted to members but cannot remember if that was done in the 1990s or not.

Are you saying that historic data was available at one time but is no longer available? Or have I misremembered earlier (more detailed) data being available?

Printouts of players' results were provided from at least the 1996/97 season to the 2000/01 season, because I still have mine, but the results are a mixture of individual game results and event results (N games played in the event, M grading points scored).

It's a period when the grading systems were in a state of flux between recording individual results and just consolidating results reported by event.

Thank you. Interesting to get some of the parameters here, and apologies if this has been discussed in previous threads.
