Grading history

Post by Joey Stewart » Thu Dec 09, 2021 11:31 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to search opponents names in your grading history- currently the only way I can see to do it gives opponents ECF reference number instead of names and since I don't have the entire list of ECF player references memorised it is not overly helpful as things stand. Perhaps there is a better way I am not aware of?
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

I am also wondering why it is no longer possible to look up the record of former opponents. Previously the system provided the names, and results, of previous years. Why is this no longer available?

Not sure about Joey's query, but for yours, when on your page, click on OtB results, make sure you change the filter from 2021 to all periods, this will give you all the games you played. Now click on the name of an opponent and you'll see their records too.

When you get to the page showing all your games use CTRL/F to find the games against a particular opponent.

Wadih how do I change the filter to all periods?
All I am seeing is the ability to change year, four digits only, and the month.

I hope you won't mind my answering.

Go to your personal home page at www.ecfrating.org.uk/v2/new/player.php?ECF_code=280744A.

Click on "View OTB Results", then on the drop down menu to the right of "2021".

The next option down is "All Seasons".

Thank you both. I did not realise that you had to check your ECF code to get the full set of results.

No, you don't. It says "Please enter any part or parts of a player's name or their ECF code, Membership No., FIDE No."

At least, it does in my browser. Sometimes that matters.

Andy, in your case "McCu" suffices for a list of manageable length, in my browser anyway.

Your ECF Grading Code is in the left hand column. Clicking on that takes you to the profile page at the link in my previous post.
