Hello, and thank you in advance for reading/helping
A) I will have played 50 rated games in the period 1 July 2018 - 30 June 2019
B) I will have played 30 rated games in the period 1 Jan 2019 - 30 June 2019
Will my July 19 grade be calculated using A or B above?
Sorry if this seems a little pointless but I am hoping to play in some summer congresses and want to work out my eligibility
Many thanks
Trefor

All ECF grades are now based on at least a year's worth of games.Trefor Owens wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 10:50 amSorry if this seems a little pointless but I am hoping to play in some summer congresses and want to work out my eligibility
Congresses should say on the entry form whether they are basing eligibility on the January 2019 list or the July 2019 list, or for that matter a monthly FIDE list.
Thanet hedge their bets by saying "latest available grading list" but would offer a transfer or refund if someone enters a restricted section based on their January grade only to find their July grade makes them ineligible.
