Worcestershire are already assured of at least a share of the Midland Counties Championship. Meanwhile Leicestershire, led by GM Hebden, give Warwickshire a drubbing.

Leicestershire reminding everyone that it is an unlimited championship after putting out an average team of almost 190, despite going on previous years, all the counties opting to progress to the National Minor counties stages.

Meanwhile it appears we in Worcestershire will be celebrating (even if it may be joint) our first win of the Midlands County Championship since 1947 according to http://www.mccu.org.uk/cmprevious/openroll.htm

Worcestershire, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire are the three qualifying MCCU counties for the Minor Counties. Final placings will be decided in the last round of matches next month. No MCCU counties will be competing in the Counties Championship.
