Intimidate tends to refer to psychological threats whereas scare is more associated with physical threats.

A chronicle is a narrative account of events. Documents are records.soheil_hooshdaran wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 9:24 pmThanks.
What's the difference between historical chronicles and historical documents?
If someone compiled a record of events in Iran in 1978 - 1979, that would be a historical chronicle of the Revolution (although the term would more commonly be used to describe events rather longer than 40 years ago.)
If someone found a pile of Government papers from the time of the Shah, they would be historical documents.

Re: The English Language
Histiography is "the study of the writing of history and of written histories."
Rhetoric is "the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the exploitation of figures of speech and other compositional techniques."
but also, "language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect, but which is often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content."
Rhetorical is "relating to or concerned with the art of rhetoric."
However, I would classify "rhetorical histiography" as one of those phrases people use when they think it makes them look clever. It is just confusing to normal people and therefore wrong.

What's the difference between focus and concentrate?
When you take a large, complex project and break it down into smaller, bite-size tasks, you can boost your ability to concentrate and focus on specific tasks.

What does it mean that:
our bones start to gradually lose their mass by age 30
What'd be the difference if we replace "by" by "from"?
