Worse than Truss?
Maybe not on a pro-rata basis, admittedly ;)

Though there is a respectable argument that Cameron has done more long term harm than either of them.

Based on the rankings typically given to William H Harrison when historians rank US presidents, my guess will be that Truss will typically feature near the bottom of the UK prime ministerial rankings, but not at the bottom.

You could argue from that it was Blair and/or Brown that ultimately did that long-term harm. (Brown by not standing in 1994 that allowed Blair in and then events of 2003-2004).

Well it is probably truest to say that Cameron (the "heir to Blair", let us not forget) compounded the harm NL did in *some* areas whilst doing rather less of the good things that mitigated this. And his totally unscrupulous "evil twin" Osborne will truly go down in infamy - most current bad stuff has his fingerprints on it at some level. Its not surprising that things came to a head starting from the early 2010s.

It seems to be that almost all prime ministers over the last 20-30 years are simply the 'lesser evil' rather then someone who is expected to actually do something useful for the country
