The Crossing of Limbs

From now on I will be regularly crossing and uncrossing my legs whilst playing chess, table tennis and engaging in motorsport in the hope this will distract my opponents.

It has almost certainly been used as an excuse for losing at chess before.

Interestingly the original name of the Cupid Stunt character was Mary Hinge.

The chaps at the BBC decided this spoonerism was to be banned but permitted the alternative Cupid Stunt.


Both names were suggestions of the most wonderful Barry Cryer.
