If you had to put James Bond films in order from best to worst, how would you place them? Do you have a favourite Bond film? I just saw Goldfinger and thought it was absolutely awful. A View to a kill is probably my favourite.

I think British Villains work best as well as a those where a friend is on the list of credits.

I thought From Russia with Love was diabolical.

My favourites are Live and Let Die followed by Moonraker.
I thought the character Sheriff J.W. Pepper in Live and Let Die was great, he also appeared in the following James Bond film, The Man With the Golden Gun.
In Moonraker you had Hugo Drax and Jaws.
Michael Lonsdale who played Hugo Drax sadly passed away September last year.

Yeah he was certainly at the start but at the end of Moonraker he switched sides.

Sad news the other day, that the actor Yaphet Kotto died aged 81.
He played the main villain Dr.Kananga/Mr.Big in the James Bond film, Live and Let Die.
Yaphet also appeared with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film, The Running Man and alongside Sigourney Weaver in the film, Alien.

I am watching that one at present. Wondering who were the most menacing of the adversaries bond had. Some of them were scarier than others.

I've recently watched Goldeneye and Day Another Day. The former was quite good, the latter was dreadful.

Goldeneye was the name of Ian Fleming's house on Jamaica. The retired cricket commentator Henry Blofeld (the villain was named after his father\) tells the story of visiting Fleming and finding Noel Coward there.

One thing that disappointed me (amongst many) was that Stephen Spielberg did not cast Richard Kiel in

Jaws 5 : Jaws vs Jaws (The Biting Has To Stop)

a potential remake of Kramer vs Kramer.

Which excellent TV series claimed by implication that it was in 4D? ( not Doctor Who)

I thought it was "Please Sir!" - but that was 5C rather than 4D.

Is the answer a science fiction series?
