Thanks for the reminder, Simon, of why I did not just ditch TV because of the BBC's fare & fee.

Coincidentally, while recently looking into the online hagiographies for Simon Peter (St. Peter) I was served up the following link -

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Simon_(presenter)

Wherein I found -

"Simon was suspended from Ideal World in September 2018 following an on-air comment against Polish and Latvians in the UK. He was re-instated one month later."

Miracles do happen, it seems.

As far as I am aware, there are no more planned Freeview Channel Changes until the new year.
Early in the new year:
Channel 7 That's Christmas will probably change back to That's TV.
Channel 51 Sony Movies Christmas will probably change back to Sony Movies.

I don't have Sky.
But there is two Facebook sites I use:
a516digital
TVWise
Lots of useful information on it
there is also another Facebook page
Mike(ex-a516digital)
A number of great sites to get started with.
a516digital was apparently named after the road in Derbyshire near to where they lived.

I'm not sure how that is Simon's fault.

I've just done the retune. All worked well.
Those of you that have HD Ready and Smart TVs, shouldn't need to do a manual retune as it is done automatically.
The TVs, I have at home are Samsung and are over 10 years old. So a manual retune is needed.
Also the older TVs like mine can't pick up all the freeview channels.
I've also retuned my HD Recorder so it's not out of sink with the TV

Hello all. Not my fault but just be aware there are a number of areas in the UK that are currently having Freeview Outage problems.
The Fylde part of Lancashire and Preston have been having issues with signal strength since 6.20pm this evening.
It doesn't seem that bad if you have an indoor aerial.

Don't mention it, Simon.

Not sure what the penance is - the pedants have not yet started a penitentiary.
