The American John Towner Williams is regarded as the greatest film composer of all time.
He has composed some of the most popular, recognizable and critically acclaimed film scores in cinematic history in a career spanning over six decades.
For me the best film scores were Star Wars, Jaws and Indiana Jones.
My favourite Star Wars soundtrack is Duel of the Fates.
The reason being it is infectious and so dramatic.
Duel of the Fates was featured in Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace.
It was played when Darth Maul faced Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi in a lightsaber battle towards the end of the film.
If you google Duel of the Fates, you are looking for the video Cinema in Concert.
Ideal to play before a chess game.
What is your favourite John Williams film score?
