My version of Chessbase does not seem to accept printed bulletins
Then contact the Managers to voice your disapproval. This one's nothing to do with me...

Congratulations to Amy Hoare, whose TPR of 2130 has qualified her for next year's British Championship.

Congratulations are certainly in order on a fine performance, but I find it amazing that Jack Rudd (as an IM) is not qualified and someone qualifies because they have a 2130 performance. It almost looks like they are desperate for Championship entry fees

In this new world of sexual equality if a male gets a 2130 performance can we claim our place

I think she has an advantage by having a lower qualification limit from being not just female, but a junior too.

stop bringing ageism into this as well

On a serious note though it was a closed tournament though so performance should not be counted, just final position

A bit off topic, but in fact Jack has also qualified by virtue of his 2400 performance at this year's British Championship.

Jack, belated congratulations to you too.

I suppose it's asking too much for people to be pleased that a 13 year old girl has had a successful tournament and scored 5.5/9 despite being the lowest rated player in the tournament. Given that she missed out on the one qualifying place for the European and World Youth I'm especially pleased that she performed so well and justified her invitation.
