Meanwhile, I've been sitting here wondering if the games are on a time delay, since chess24 and Chessbomb both have the last round starting twenty minutes ago. Checking the official site, I find I have an hour and forty minutes to wait. Thanks everyone.

Although I understand that the Grand Prix qualifies two players for the Candidates in 2021, I can't find anything explaining how the other qualifying places are determined. So while I assume that Goryachkina is pre-qualified by virtue of reaching the upcoming world championship match, I don't actually know that, and nor do I know whether, if that's so, the third-placed player in the Grand Prix would have a place reserved for them.
I think the format is the same as the Men's now

We believe that, not only will the new Women’s World Championship cycle guarantee a new range of top-level events but will also bring it in line with the World Championship cycle

Odd choice, 8...b4 in the Meran, it's never been particulatly well thought of. Mind you I once got a quick draw with it in the Ilford Open, a game Goryachkina may not have in mind.

Well, that must have been thoroughly painful.

Oh, Kosteniuk came through to share first, I'd missed that.

GP scores are now:

Koneru 293 with the last event in Sardinia to play
Goryachkina 253 with the next event in Lausanne to play
Lagno 180 (plus Sardinia)
Kosteniuk 178 (plus Lausanne)
Ju 120 with both events to play
Harika 120 (plus Lausanne)

Still chances of a top 2 finish for the Muzychuk sisters with 2 events left

The regulations say
The two (2) players who score the most number of cumulative points in WGP Series qualify to the FIDE Women
Candidates Tournament to be held in the first half of 2021.
Should one of these two players be the current Women World Champion or has already qualified to the FIDE Women
Candidates Tournament 2021 at the end of the WGP Series, her qualification spot goes to the highest placed player in
the WGP Series final standings who is not the current Women World Champion and not qualified to the FIDE Women
Candidates Tournament 2021 at the end of WGP Series.
