Thank you for your helpful post, Mick. You beat me to it by about 15 minutes.

A few additional pieces of information:

1. Monday 7th August is a rest day.

2. If there is a playoff, it will be on Saturday 12th August, also at 7.00 pm BST.

3. The Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz, in which Kasparov makes his return, follows on from Monday 14th August to Friday 18th August, with play again starting at 7.00 pm BST each day.

A nice time 7pm to sit and have a gander so hopefully the YouTube feed is also in place.

I don't yet have them myself. When I get them, I'll try to upload them as an attachment.

Thank you

Do we think Magnus will win, or 1 of the Americans? I'm probably more interested in the rating performances of So and Caruana TBH, but as we are supposed to be trying to be a FUN (copyright J Rogers) Forum, I'll go for Aronian to win

I'll pick the FUN option of Anand to win.

Aronian has won against Nepomniachtchi whilst Anand-Nakamura & Caruana-Carlsen were drawn.

Karjakin beat Svidler and MVL-So is still going after reaching the time control.

Looking like two White wins after 1.e4, e5. That's encouraging.
