England’s number two, Luke McShane, is in second place on 5.5/8 in the Grandmaster Group B section. He is eighth seed in the fourteen player all-play-all event that includes four players rated over 2700. His wins have been against GMs Wouter Spoelman rated 2547, Li Chao rated 2649, Vlad Tkachiev rated 2636 and Radoslaw Wojtaszek rated 2726.
