Bodhana has started with 2.5/3, beating an FM rated 2448, drawing with an FM rated 2348 and beating an IM rated 2326.

A sixth FM in round 7 for Bodhana after a draw in round 6 leaves her needing to face two GM/IM/WGM in the last two rounds to have any norm chance.

Freddy won in round 6 to keep his norm chances very much alive.

Another FM in round 8 ends Bodhana's norm chances, but she has at least sent her live rating back above mine.

Having just checked the number of titled players in the tournament there does seem to be a large number of FMs but facing seven in eight games is still unfortunate.

I believe that Freddy needs 0.5/2 or maybe even 0 depending on his last round opponent for his final IM norm.

And probably 1½/2 with a GM in round 9 for a GM norm, although I haven't done a detailed calculation.

Where was Freddy's second IM norm? Fide only lists the 2025 European teams.

Freddy is white against Bartosz Socko in the last round needing to win for a GM norm.
