According to 2700 chess, he plays the Chess.com Global Championship Final 2023 between 9 &16 December, but I think Tarjei posted a note that he wasn't playing any more OTB chess in 2023

As far as I can tell, no classic time-control chess. Not sure why 2700.com are listing it. Maybe somewhere in there are some longplay time controls and games that count for FIDE ratings. Not sure I can spot them, though.

Fair point. I don't suppose many people would want to sit at home in their "online playing environment" for 4-5 hours and only get one game out of it! (The irony(?) being that they are willing to play countless games of blitz/bullet chess in the same time frame?)

The CCT Finals happen on December 9 through 16. The Finals consist of a single-elimination bracket featuring the champion of each of the tour's events and the top players from the tour leaderboard.
