Welcome to the Forum, Jon. Peter Rowe has told me that you and he are working together to revive the Festival.

If I make it, as I hope to do, it will be my 20th appearance (10 as a player; 10 as the arbiter).

Peter Rowe just telephoned me. My lips are sealed on the details until everything is confirmed, but all very positive and, as Jon Hill said, watch the Guernsey Chess Club website over the next few weeks.

A change of format this year to run it all as a single section. That's unusual for an Open in a British Isles context, even if common in age restricted events.

Kevin faces a former British (Womens) Champion in round 1.

I'm guessing that there a small number of live boards but does anyone have any clues on where I might find them online?
