That seems the key position where Nepo played c5. Did he overlook that Carlsen could just play .. c6 trapping the Bishop or did he miscalculate a long line thinking that .. c6 could be allowed? He did get the passed a pawn as insufficient compensation.
He commented in the press conference that c6 wasn't a threat before white played c5 (presumably because the knight could occupy that square) and even after he played it he didn't realise the danger until black played the move.

What are you expecting him to do with the black pieces
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

How can he play the Petroff and try to win at the same time. He must have given up already.

Dull, dull, dull. But why should Magnus take any risks?

Computer gives a tiny White edge, so Magnus might decide to probe for a bit in the hope Nepo slips up again.

Three down with five to play and having scored 0.5/4 since game 5 including two successive black losses it doesn't seem an unreasonable approach.

A snoozefest. It's all over bar the shouting.

All Nepo will hope is that he can get a win with White, as Nigel did in 1993.

I take your point but even Carlsen said he wasn't expecting it. He has to start playing for a win with black at some point. I don't know if you saw the press conference but if you did you may have noticed Nepo was rather evasive in answering certain questions. As it stands he's put in the worst performance by a challenger I have ever seen. Perhaps it is the case that he's lost his confidence and doesn't want to lose more games.

Are you watching the commetary on youttube with David Howell, Houska and Karja Snare? There are some odd things that come out of that. They got fans to take selfies, and some of them had the position where Nepo had just played Nc6 yet those in the selfies were smiling away. I'm not sure what to make of that, they seem to be trying to make chess more entertaining and glamorising the Petroff inadvertently. Who came up with that idea?

I do wish they'd let Nepo off the press conferences now. Not a matter of evasion: he's no longer in a position to say much, poor lad. And some of the Qs are borderline absurd (yes,I'm looking at you, Maurice Ashley)

What does this even mean
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."
