Well done to him, he did seem to surprise Karjakin with his opening in the first game so this isn't totally shocking.

Carlsen meanwhile gave Fedoseev another chess lesson, for a 2-0 win.

The final position in Carlsen's game is rather picturesque, unless you're sitting behind the black pieces trying to find something to do.
