Ellie gamal (her picture is shown on the original advertisement) resides in Essex but is from Egypt played and won the best African player prize, scoring 11.5/17 and a $300 prize to boot, an outstanding achievement, congratulations to her

I don’t seen any other participants from the UK that entered though which is very surprising.
