TWIC Report on quarter-finals
Day 3
Nakamura will now have three days off to prepare for the winner of Magnus Carlsen and Wesley So

The seventh day of the Lindores Abbey Rapid Challenge produced some of the most exciting chess of the event so far.

Thursday will see the first of three days of the semi-finals Carlsen-Nakamura and Ding-Dubov

Carlsen's on sparkling form v. Nakamura. He's just won the first set, 3-0, absolutely crushing Nakamura in all games. Superb

What's the effect of time zones and biorythms on online chess & other games players, I wonder. Is it likely to be significant in a worlwide arena?

It would seem to be a compromise which is ideal in Europe, while not too late in Asia and not too early in America. You find the same, by default, in forex markets. I doubt that it matters much.
