He played for Slovakia, and then "returned" to Armenia. He played for them in the last Olympiad, I think. He paid 5000 Euros according to this. He also had dual Armenian/Slovakian citizenship, according to that.
Edit: That just means what's due; I think a federation has the option of waiving that.
