ENG 3.5-2.5 TRK! Win for Wadsworth, the rest draws.
A medium miracle from some of the positions earlier in the match.

I thought the most likely result was going to be 4-2 to Turkey or even worse.

Bit silly paying too much attention to Rapidplay, but Adams hasn't lost many games on the Black side of the Marshall.

Let us hope that that was the match in which everyone got their bad results out of the way at once.

I'm confident against Algeria. Admittedly they only have 3 players.

They managed 4 in the last match. Hopefully, they will be fined by FIDE.

I'd be worried about Jonah Willow's game today. Do we only have Matthew Wadsworth and Jonah.

Speaking as Jonah's 4NCL captain he has fully earned his chance to play. He's been a consistent scorer on a high board in the top division of the 4NCL over the last two seasons. He also has very high online ratings at both blitz and bullet. He won't have the same experience at this time control and that, combined with the understandable nerves of playing alongside our top GMs and being in and out of the team may partly explain why he's having some inconsistent results.John Moore wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 5:48 pmI'd be worried about Jonah Willow's game today. Matthew is a very accomplished player who has the IM title and a GM norm.

Fair enough, Loz. You know far more about their capabilities than I do.LawrenceCooper wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 6:02 pmSpeaking as Jonah's 4NCL captain he has fully earned his chance to play.
