Just mentioning that after 38 years, NIC stopped the publication of the New In Chess Yearbook.
I suppose this is part of the plan from the new owners from Magnus Group.
A sign of our times when books and printed publications are lagging behind online tools.
Chess Informant is still going, you wonder for how long.
Lot of good memories, browsing either of those volumes at the chess club when starting playing competitive chess and the term engine had not yet entered the chess vocabulary.

Chess Informant seems to have no plans to call it a day, thankfully.
