In this episode my guest is Tom Quilter, who is quite well known as a player on the tournament circuit and is also the creator of a great website for kids preparing for exams called Pinpoint Learning. He is also a great advocate for Chess960 (otherwise known as Fischer Random chess). We talk about how Chess960 might be the future of chess, whether the pandemic is actually a great opportunity for changing the way we think about what we are doing, playing ultimate frisbee in Hawaii, addictive personalities, losing weight by running, the Digital Nomad future, why car auctions have taken off online and much more!

I particularly like the calming sound of wood pigeons in the background!

I must admit I had not heard of Tom Quilter until listening to the podcast. I thought it was excellent.
