Perhaps increments make a difference, but a winning method for Black with the Hedgehog was to hit out with .. d5 or ..b5 during the run up to the move 40 time control when either or both players were short of time having spent the previous thirty or so trying not to doing very much.MJMcCready wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 12:48 pmWhat's the main drawback of the Kan? The hedgehog positions from the Kan need quite careful handling. Read and digest Shipov's epic two book series on the hedgehog for some good answers....
