Whilst the Chessbase online database has:

The Olympiad game certainly looks plausible. My data source has Lombardy - but AUT played SUI and not USA in that event.

But Swiss players were always playing Austrians - so they could have met more than once that year.

Only info is "Austria".

It seems to be a game which found its way onto the historic databases as a one-off. I didn't find any other games that might have been part of a match or tournament.

www.chesslab.com implies it's from a match between Austria and Switzerland.

Hi James,

It looks like you tracked down the game.

That game is on the Informator disc - annotated by Maric. So if you can lay your
hands on Vol 18 it's game 201 it might reveal more details.
The Informant usually lists it's sources.

Maric gives 20.Bxh6 a !
