BBC Master Game - all editions

For my own interest, does anyone know when precisely these contests were held (say month/year), rather than broadcast?
I've checked the two dedicated BBC books, but was unable to establish much that was concrete. I also struggled to be enlightened by the contemporary issues of CHESS/BCM, or those that I had.
Britbase, another obvious source appears only to have April for the 1983 event, so presumably John Saunders may also be keen to fill in a few blanks.
