Amos Burn : a rather late starter but remarkably successful

Based in Kingston-Upon-Hull and became President of Liverpool Chess Club

I thought what has become (but only in recent years, in intriguing thing in itself) his most famous move might have featured.

I assume you mean 33...Qg4 in his 1910 game with MacDonald from Liverpool 1910 ?

In which case it is referred to just after the paragraph providing HGs article.

Ah yes, though it arguably deserved a diagram of its own :)

I recall Tim Krabbe saying it was "discovered" too late to feature in his Greatest Moves list, but if he had known it would have made the top 10.

I quite agree : position after 33.Bh5 added mid article and after 33...Qg4!! at the foot.
