He was invited to attend a function celebrating the centenary of the Civil Service Chess Association and he (or his office) did not even bother to reply. So he doesn't get my vote...

what was his reply on this Mick? i know that one is connected to his own chess federation.is David Norwood willing to stand for this postion? i like to know if he is. If not then my vote will go to cj after the video i saw him do with kingscrusher and he also played the game to a decent level
