Hi Nick, am a bit confused. I don't disagree with your comment on the ECF, but I thought you were a senior official of a rival chess federation? Which means your comment is just politics. I don't consider Gambia (or Bermuda) to be a rival to the ECF.
I consider myself at liberty to comment on ECF matters.

True enough, I wasn't sure where to post it, but ECF AGM Aftermath seemed the right place, given that was where the vacancy came to light!
I wish Robert the best of luck, will be interesting to see what he thinks of the GC members and indeed the ECF generally - he looks to have the right kind of credentials, although I know lots of lawyers and when they specialise they aren't always great in other areas - I am sure he will be an improvement on his predecessor, just shows what can happen when posts are left vacant
