I have now heard that the wi-fi is down at the venue, thus the radio silence. But it gets worse. BK is thought to blame AH for this, and pulled a face at him, at which AH - with witnesses present - threw a paper aeroplane at him with a message which one other person could read. BK complained and PE ejected AH from the hall for two hours. DL has asked all parties to stop acting childishly and to move on from where they presently were. AH is appealing.

This is all said to be "unprecedented".

Phil Ehr first. He is observing how well the ECF has done under his leadership, and how difficult he would find it to work with David Openshaw if both he and David were re-elected.

He 's Mister Collegiate.
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

I think he might rather take his lead from the hockey field...

Thanks, Mick  If you're over in Wakefield in a month's time, we'll find ourselves a nice dark alley where I'll give you my reaction to this
OK David, we now have a vacancy, so who do you think would be the best person to fill it?

There is one question which I think has been ignored by everyone. Where was the President?

His report apologises for his absence.

That's was published long before Phil Ehr's screed along with his expected absence being made known in the voting register.

Thanks, I'm not sure how I missed that. However, I do not believe that his role includes avoiding "disputacious meetings". It is unhelpful for him to advise us all to avoid "petty divisions" without taking the trouble to form his own view of whether they really are all that petty. If I had myself taken the trouble to read his report, and if I had my own vote, I would have voted against him for that.

Can anyone Fill Phil Ehr shoes? Who would wanted to be the chief Ex now? you need someone like an Sir Alex Fergurson type of person, and is there one in the ECF???

I do 100% Agreed with Mick Norris as it is easy to vote someone out, but you need someone who can do the job. I can't name one person unless you bring back Martin Regan maybe?
