ECF Cricket Match 4th August

We will be holding our annual cricket match on Sunday 4th August against Barton Cricket Club, Torquay starting at 2pm.
I have spoken to the fixtures secretary of Barton this afternoon and we have confirmed the fixture. This is the middle Sunday of the 100th British Championships. http://www.bartoncricketclub.com/
We now need to find a team. If you are interested let me know ( [email protected]). Please bring whites. The opposition are supplying a good tea , a ball and a weak,friendly Sunday eleven( £4 match fee) . Players from past ECF/BCF XI who are not playing chess at Torquay are also welcome to play as honoured guests. They know who they are
The match will be held about 10 mins from the Riviera Centre, so spectators are welcome. Spectators who would like tea are also welcome; just notify me in advance at £3 per head.
It would be nice to make this a very special event at a special congress.
