Cool your jets, Dejan. Firstly, 150 isn't a magic number - a grading point is a percentage point whatever your opponents' average grade is. Secondly, it's a point about the scale of Clarke grades, not the formula, because that property would be destroyed if you kept the same formula but multiplied the result by 8 and added 600. Thirdly, I have never claimed that one nice property of a rating system is an excuse to keep it.
